The Behavioral Intervention Group is founded on ABA and has been developed to maximize the behavior, learning, independence, communication, play, social development, well-being and happiness of each child we work with. BIG is committed to taking a highly personalized approach that adapts each child's program specifically to meet his or her needs whether that be for early learners and those more affected with autism or advanced learners and those diagnosed with asperger‘s syndrome. BIG’s aim is to make significant improvement to the lives of each child we work with and their families.
Employment
BIG appreciates there are limited avenues for career development for talented individuals working with children with autism.
With this in mind, BIG places great emphasis on staff development. Each Monday, the BIG staff meets to review current cases and take part in training courses.
Training courses cover various topics such as: ABA theory, child development, speech and language development, how to effectively manage a treatment team and the statementing process. In addition, staff attend various courses and seminars in the field of ABA and autism.
Each staff member takes part in regular evaluations to review their progress and address areas for further development.
If you are located in the greater London Area or the Tulsa Metro area and are interested in joining the BIG team, please contact the office in your area.
